Notification for Pro-Subscribers wrt Prelims Postponement

Since the Prelims exam has been postponed till October 4th,we will release the 500 Most Probables List on appropriate date against the earlier stated time because the list needs to be updated and current events till September need to be considered now.

We have got more time for preparation,so we are contemplating some changes wrt the preparation. We have slowed down the release of content ( because the programme was meant for one to two months before Prelims for strategic revision and hence low fees).

Either we will stick with the initial plan,in that case we will upload new articles at the suitable time (August-September),or we may expand the scope of the programme(in which case we may have to  increase fees for our future subscribers,no change in fees for present subscribers).

We do not want to tamper with the core concept of our website by flooding it with everything .We will focus only on high rate of returns area and content.

One must make sure to complete the posted articles by July end .Most of the articles have current and static part as well,so they will be equally relevant for Prelims in October also.Subscribers will receive notifications for articles which will be changed/updated- mostly it will be addition of content. One must also go through Revision Strategy articles and Strategic articles for preparation.

Last year we served content only for Prelims, but now we are contemplating entering Mains arena . Here also,we want to serve unique and only important content, and not burden aspirants with unnecessary baggage.

Suggestions/Concepts

We are asking Pro subscribers regarding suggestions on what kind of content they want, what innovative framework of preparation should we introduce- which should be unique and important. The fees of the subscriber whose suggestion we introduce will be waived off for both Prelims and Mains preparation.

We will introduce Mains curriculum only if we hit upon an innovative and implementation worthy concept .Suggestions regarding Prelims exam content are also welcome.During preparation, one always feels that had he/she got something in this/that format or a certain type of content,it would have eased his preparation- we need that “feeling/thought ” of yours to add elements in our content.

One can mail us suggestions  at info.iasnova@gmail.com .

Lastly, aspirants should not become complacent with respect to Prelims exam, they should combine Mains and Prelims preparation as per individual’s preparation level.

Why?

  • Prelims this year will be highly competitive- lockdowns have given both working and non working aspirants enough time to prepare well.
  • With exam postponement, many candidates who were not well prepared for 30th May exam will go full throttle in their preparation for Prelims in October.
  • Aspirants who had prepared well for exam in May will get sufficient time for multiple revisions.

Above mentioned scenario is the most likely one,and hence its better to be prepared for the evolving competition.

Note

Subscription of all existing subscribers have been extended upto October 5th.

If any change is made in programme,it will be notified to subscribers, else the programme remains the same for October 4 exam as it was for 30th May, with new articles on most important and most probable topics at suitable time, apart from the existing articles which should be done properly.

We have postponed the publishing of some prepared articles ,they will be uploaded after taking into account current events till September.

For any guidance regarding Prelims and Mains preparation, for example-regarding best sources for a particular topic etc type queries, one can mail us .
